Tim McElvaine, CA, CFA
President

Tim McElvaine is the founder and President of McElvaine Investment Management Ltd. Tim established The McElvaine Investment Trust in 1996 and acquired The McElvaine Limited Partnership (previously Cundill Capital Limited Partnership) in the summer of 2000. Tim developed his value-oriented philosophy during his 12-year career with Peter Cundill & Associates Ltd. where, amongst other capacities, he served as Manager of the Cundill Security Fund (1992-99), Co-Manager of the Cundill Value Fund (1998-2003) and Chief Investment Officer (1998-2003). Previously, Tim has served as non-executive Director of Sun-Rype Products and Humpty Dumpty Snack Foods and has also held positions in banking and accounting. Tim earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) from Queen's University in 1986, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 and as a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1991. Tim is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Rainmaker Income Fund, a publicly traded income trust, and the Board of Governors of St. Margaret's School in Victoria BC.

Geoff Castle, MBA
Manager, Research

Geoff Castle is Manager, Research with McElvaine Investment Management Ltd., joining the firm in September, 2007. Geoff brings over 11 years experience in investing and strategic business analysis. Previously Geoff was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at a national mutual fund organization and also spent four years as a consultant with strategy consulting firm, Bain & Co. Geoff earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of British Columbia in 1989 and a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Western Ontario (Ivey) in 1996.

Kim Nazaroff
Operations Manager

Kim Nazaroff joined McElvaine Investment Management Ltd. as Operations Manager in January, 2002. Previously, Kim worked at Mackenzie Financial Corp. and Peter Cundill & Associates Ltd., and has held positions in banking. She has assisted Tim with the administration and compliance of the McElvaine funds since 1997. Kim has previously served as a Director of the Board of SFU Child Care Society. She earned a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in 1994 and completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2000.

Diann Fong
Operations Administrator

Diann Fong has been the Operations Administrator at McElvaine Investment Management Ltd. since July, 2003. Diann has over 10 years' experience in mutual fund service and administration, having previously worked at Dundee Securities, Mackenzie Financial Corp., and Peter Cundill and Associates Ltd.
